Risk Management Cards
ALL COACHES ARE TO BE ADVISED...
per MSYSA: any coach, assistant coach, manager, trainer, OR ANY ADULT substituting for the above in their absence during a match MUST have a Risk Management Card from MSYSA available for the match referee or tournament committee to review if they are participating as the team representative. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
To apply for your initial Risk Management card or to renew it, please follow the steps below:
1. Go to http://www.michiganyouthsoccer.org/programs/riskmanage.htm
2. Have your social security number and a credit card (it costs $10) available
3. Complete the steps; upon approval you will receive your risk management certification via email.
4. Keep your risk management card (sent via email) with you when coaching (recommendation: laminate it and include it with your team’s pass-cards)
